The young anarchist militant Salvador Puig Antich, 25, spent his last night in cell 443 of the La Model prison in Barcelona. He was accused of killing the police officer Francisco Anguas Barragán, 24, on 25 September 1973 at a shooting in the staircase of a building in the Girona street, after escaping from a trap at the Funicular bar. The 4 sisters of Puig Antich are still fighting to have the case reviewed, verifying the irregularities of a process that the Franco regime used to download all its repressive anger.
