Víznar II (Barranco de Víznar), Granada (2016). The pharmacist and feminist Milagro Almenara Pérez, 36, was murdered on 2 November 1936 along with Rosario Fregenal Piñar, Rosa Segura Calero and Concha Pertíñez Tabasco between Víznar and Alfacar.

The pharmacist and feminist Milagro Almenara Pérez, 36, was murdered on 2.11.1936 along with Rosario Fregenal Píñar, Rosa Segura Calero and Concha Pertíñez Tabasco between Víznar and Alfacar. With only 16 years old she enrolled in the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Granada, being one of the few women of the time to pursue higher education. She obtained the Bachelor's degree with the second best record of the institute. Almenara was a feminist and an active militant of the Grenada socialist movement, and was known as the "red pharmacist".
